Former Asante Kotoko striker Benjamin Acheampong scored the opener for El Dakhleya in their 1-1 draw with Petrojet in the Egyptian Premier League on Friday night.
The 26-year-old raced his side into a 14th minute lead and came close twice to scoring his second goal within the opening 45 minutes but he was denied by the visitors keeper.
Petrojet equalised through a spot kick two minutes into the second-half to earn a point from the game.
Acheampong, who played for Wa All Stars and Asante Kotoko in the Ghanaian top-flight league, joined Dakhleya as a free agent after leaving Angolan side Petro de Luanda.
