Abdul Salam Yakubu has indicated that New Edubiase United were unlucky on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw against West African Football Academy (WAFA).
The 2012 FA Cup champions threw away their 1-0 lead when they scored an own goal to gift the visitors a point at New Edubiase on Saturday on match day 24.
And Abdul Salam has stated that his side should have secured all the three points but luck eluded them in the game.
'Everybody has his bad moment and I think that is what New Edubiase United is going through at the moment.
'We got a lead and then after we scored an own goal to give WAFA a point. After the game I called my people that whatever happens in this year's league we should take it like that,' he told Happy FM.
New Edubiase United are lying at the bottom of the league log with 21 points, with 6 matches to end the season.
The Ghana Premier League continues on Wednesday, with New Edubiase making a trip to Techiman City.
