The president of Tunisia's Etoile Sahel believes that Ghanaian forward Charles Taylor could help the club achieve its ambition of winning the African Champions League.
Othman Jenayeh told BBC Sport that both Taylor and striker Frank Osei signed for Etoile last week from their Ghana's Asante Kotoko.
"They signed before 15 January to beat the registration deadline for both the Tunisian league and for Caf's African club competitions," the Etoile president explained.
"We always look for African players because on top of the Tunisian league, our main target is the Champions League.
Coupled with the other players we have, Taylor will make us stronger because he has been playing in the most important games in African club football over the last four years."
One potential hitch surrounding the future of both Taylor and Osei with Etoile is that the Tunisian league leaders have yet to play Kotoko for their services.
