Aggrey Fynn to be buried Saturday, Jan. 22

Cape Coast, Jan. 17, GNA - The mortal remains of Aggrey Fynn, former captain of Ghana's Black Stars will be laid to rest at Asekyeano cemetery, Cape Coast on Saturday, January 22.

Aggrey Fynn, 72, died last December after a protracted illness. According to a family spokesman, Fynn will be laid in state at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium on Friday, January 21 and buried the next day.

In a tribute, Mr Matthew Doe, Chairman of the Central Regional Football Association described the lat captain as a great footballer and a role model in soccer who was very disciplined and never received a caution card during his football career. The lat Aggrey Fynn featured for Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, Sekondi Hasaacas, champion club Accra Hearts of Oaks and Republicans.
