The dwindling fortunes of Ghana in international football could soon be a thing of the past as more quality players lost in Europe continue to declare their interest in playing for their motherland. The latest to do this is the Anthony Baffoe look alike Jimmy Aggrey. The six foot three giant, born 26 Oct 1978 in London has a Ghanaian dad and currently plays in the walsh premier league for the ever dominant TNS football club

The towering central defender was a regular in Chelsea's youth team. He joined Fulham where he was one of Mickey Adams' last signings before the arrival of Kevin Keegan and Ray Wilkins. Released in the summer of 1998, he had a trial with Shrewsbury before joining Torquay United, where he made almost 100 league appearances. .

After a spell at Harrow Borough he signed for Yeovil. Jimmy made just 10 appearances prior to Yeovil winning the Conference and was released in May 2003. Signed a two-year contract for TNS in September 2003 and has made a huge impact at Treflan, particularly with

his aerial dominance. Jimmy has been a favourite in central defence and is very much looking forward to helping Ghana hit that target of envy. Obviously any manager's choice , Jimmy in an interview with yours truly did not hide his ambition of starring for Ghana. I love my country and I want to play my part in taking the country to the world cup in Germany he said.I will play my uttermost part when called upon'.
