Prince Owusu upset with Medeama’s defeat to Mazembe

Medeama SC coach Prince Owusu was not happy with his side for losing 3-1 to TP Mazembe in their CAF Confederation Cup Group stage opener.

The Tarkwa based side took the lead through midfielder Malik Akowuah in the 3rd minute of the game.

Mazembe then pilled pressure on the Ghanaians as they drew level after 20 minutes with a fine goal from Zambian international Kalaba and added two more to make it 3-1.

“I think we went with our game plan- initially it went well but some things went wrong and you all watched it so i am not happy with the outcome of the game,” Owusu said after the game.

Medeama's next game will be on June 29 at home to MO Bejaia.
