Security was to the maximum and historical. Kotoko fans were so hurt that it is reported that 70 fans collapsed. Mr. Kwame Owusu Ansah, a special assistant to Kotoko's CEO was reported to have been so distraught and had to be carried to his car.

Many have called for the firing of the coach.

Some fans have questioned why the coach removed their three key players; Charles Taylor, Nana Arhin Duah and Michael Ossei during the game which was the result of the loss.

Some made comments not to wear their Kotoko jerseys or attend games anymore or would like to disassociate themselves from Kotoko altogether.

After the game, one fan made it clear that he is so upset that he wants to burn the coach's official vehicle because the fans gave it to him and he does not deserve it.

One fan questioned at the last minute prior to the final game why Alhaji Yahaya Tibirine, Team Manager was "fired". It is alleged that Alhaji Yahaya was fired because of revealing Kotoko secrets to Hearts during the first encounter at Accra.

Some Circle leaders also have vowed to dissolved their circles and no more Kotoko.

All these sentiments are just a mere frustration and hopefully as time goes on, they would get over it. Meanwhile, Hearts left for Accra with the trophy and it is reported that they would present it to the president, J. A. Kufuor at a later time.
