Accra, Dec. 29, GNA - The technical team and playing body of Accra Hearts of Oak presently in a secret camp in Lome, Togo, are scheduled to arrive in Accra on Thursday December 30, ahead of their crucial all-Ghanaian first leg clash against archrivals Asante Kotoko in Confederations Cup final on Sunday.

Hearts have for the past three weeks camped in the neighbouring West African country where they participated in the Top Four competition in that country and are even due to play in the finals later on Wednesday. The team also played against the under-20 side of Benin who are currently preparing for the Africa Youth Championship (AYC) next month. The Phobians will be having their final brush-up at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium on Friday afternoon to showcase their level of preparedness before expectant home fans.

Mr Sabahn Quaye, Assistant Team Manager of Hearts told the GNA Sports in a telephone conversation from their Lome base that, "the three weeks stay away from home have afforded us the needed concentration for the two-leg finals".

He said the friendly matches have improved their game plan as the players are now poised for action on Sunday.

The Team Manager expressed the hope that the team would put up an impressive performance on Sunday.
