The Ghana Table Tennis Association(GTTA)at a meeting last Thursday at the Kofi Badu Centre formerly the Resource Centre, at the Ohene Djan Stadium, decided that registration is still open from now till the end of January, 2005 at the GTTA secretariat.
The registration fee is ¢100,000 per club and two passport sized photographs per person.The commencement of the league is March 5, 2005 in the morning. The official opening ceremony takes place on March 5, 2005 at 1.pm at the D.G. Hathiramani Sports Hall, formerly Accra Sports Hall.
A statement signed by the General Secretary of GTTA, Mr E.K Oteng Aboagye, stated that 13 institutions from Central, Gt Accra, Eastern and Volta regions, GASSA, Police, Navy and Tema Club have so far registered.
Other institutions expected to register include Ghana Immigration Forces, Ghana Fire Service and Prisons Service.
The rest are Gt Princess Academy, Next Door, Bank of Ghana and Graphic Communications Group Limited.
