Match official laid to rest

Elmina Dec.14, GNA - Mr Jeckiel Charles Kitson, Chairman of the Central Regional branch of the Match Commissioners Association and former headmaster of Adisadel College was buried at Elmina last weekend. The late Mr Kitson, 59, was also the Vice Chairman of the Central Region branch of the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS).

In a tribute, CHASS described the late Mr Kitson, "as a real sports enthusiast" who supported the development of sports in second cycle schools and hosted sports camps whenever the Region was preparing towards national games.

CHASS described the late Kitson as a pleasant person full of humour and who kept a very calm attitude during crises, and was a source of encouragement to his colleagues.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA), Cape Coast Community Schools Alliance Project, students of Adisadel College and the Philip Quaque Anglican church also paid their tributes for the departed soul.
