Moree United hold Coconut Grove Sharks

Elmina, Dec. 13, GNA - Real Moree United, on Sunday played a determined game to hold Coconut Grove Sharks of Elmina to a two all drawn game in their second division football league match played at the SSNIT park at Elmina.

The first half ended goalless.

However, the local team, improved upon their game on resumption, and scored two quick goals in the 70th and 75th minutes through Isaac Quainoo and Nicholas Dadson respectively.

In the 80th minute, Moree United made some changes, which benefited them, as they mounted pressure on their opponents. Three minutes after the changes, they reduced the score line to 2-1 through inside right Alex Okyere.

When everybody thought the match was going to end in favour of the home team, United's right-winger, Joseph Annan, took advantage of a defensive blunder to score the needed equaliser.
