Accra, Nov 30, GNA - A two-day NASSA super zonal games competition involving winners of non-assisted schools ended at the Kaneshie sports complex in Accra at the week-end.
In the boys' football, Amasaman Secondary School beat Accra Technical College 1-0 to win the trophy at stake while City Business College won the third position.
National Commercial College beat Accra Girls Vocational 2-1 at the finals to win the regional trophy.
Nungua Presbyterian Secondary School beat National Technical College 2-0 to win the first position with Dansoman-based Rising Technical School placing third. In the handball finals, Accra Girls' Vocational beat Hannah Girls Vocational 3-1. Hannah Girls' won the zonal level by the same margin. 20 schools qualified for the super zone. The non-assisted schools shall compete in athletics in February, 2005.
