Zincovit tournament set to begin

Accra.Feb.4, GNA - Ten Schools from the Accra sub metro have been selected to compete in the under 13 male schools soccer tournament.

The tournament was launched in Accra and as part of the event, the various schools were visited with the trophies to enable them to have a feel of it, where the jerseys for the tournament were presented to the schools.

The games, which is an initiative of Varaderos Eventx Solutionx was made possible by Indus pharmaceuticals and the Ghana Education Service (GES).

In an interview with the GNA Sports, Mr Maxwell Dexler Ampofo OF Varaderos Eventx, said it's a way of helping the schools with sports infrastructure.

'It is a pilot project for the sub metro units from GES and would help the schools with sports infrastructure and enhance sports development as well. There will also be medals, cash prizes and donation of books and school bags to the various schools'.

Mr Ravichandran, Director of Indus life SCI said Indus Ghana is proud to be associated to this great initiative of helping kids to exercise and learn, and that, the company would ensure the success of the games.

The tournament starts from February10 to - 11th at the Ajax Park, University of Ghana Legon, with schools like University Primary, St. Francis X'avier Primary, Alajo 3&4 Primary, Answarudeen Primary (Okaikoi North) and Rev. Thomas Clegg Primary participating. GNA
