PLB reschedules two Premier League matches

Accra, Nov. 16, GNA - The Professional League Board (PLB) has rescheduled two matches of the 14th Week Premier League matches at the Accra and Kumasi Sports Stadiums.

A statement signed by Welbeck Apra-Appiah, Chairman of the PLB said the matches between King Faisal and Real Tamale United (RTU) and Liberty Professionals and Accra Hearts of Oak would be honoured on Saturday, November 20, at the Kumasi and Accra Sports Stadium respectively. This is to enable the National Under-17 team, the Black Starlets the use of the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Sunday, November 21, for the qualifying match of the Africa Under 17 championship against their Tunisian counterparts.

According to the PLB, the remaining matches of the two zones will however be played on Sunday, November 21 and called on all clubs to take note and follow the fixtures accordingly.

The PLB advised the clubs to start their respective matches at exactly 3:00pm and warned that matches which do not kick off at 3:00 pm prompt will be declared null and void.
