AshantiGold coach Bashir Hayford says he has not penned a contract extension despite claims by the club's Chief Executive.
Last month, Kudjoe Fianoo revealed Hayford has signed a new deal which will expire in 2017.
'We have discussed the contract but I have not seen it so I have not signed any document. My contact expired way back in July. But, because of my cordial relationship with the management I am working with, I decided to continue,' Hayford told Starr Sports.
'I went to the Mines with my CEO Kudjoe Fianoo but we discussed the contract extension but they are yet to bring it for me to study and append my signature. Once the team has qualified for Africa, it is very prudent for me to stay.'
