The international meet which Vice President Abubakar Atiku has graciously accepted to be the Guest of Honour will have in attendance six countries including hosts Nigeria.

South Africa won the Gold Cup last year while Nigeria carted home the silver cup.

But the organisers of the event yesterday were upbeat about the readiness to conduct the event that will coincide with the Centennial of Polo sport in Nigeria.

"Fifth Chukker has invested in quality and intend to show to the international community what Nigeria is capable of doing," said Baba Kyari the secretary of the Fifth Chukker.

Kyari added that though four countries featured in the maiden edition last year Kenya, Morocco and Sudan will attend next year.
