Oguaa United hold Akumpreko to a drawn game

Cape Coast, Oct.28, GNA - Twifo Praso Akumpreko played a good game to hold Oguaa United to a goalless draw in their outstanding Second Division league match played at the Cape Coast Sports stadium on Wednesday.

Just after Assin Foso based referee, A.K. Appiah whistled for the commencement of the game, Akumpreko started a fast note matching their opponents squarely for a greater part of the game but none of them could find the net.

In another development, Cape Coast Royals beat Astronomers 3-2 in their Under 17 Colts league match also at the Cape Coast Sports stadium. After a balanced game with each team scoring two gaols each at half time, it was Royals midfielder, Isaac Djan, who managed to score the match winner in the 65th minute after playing a yeoman's game. Djan after receiving a midfield pass rounded up three defenders in a fast break to score the match winner. 28 Oct. 04
