Accra, Oct 27, GNA - Burglars on Wednesday abruptly ended the joy of Mr Felix Ansong, Vice Chairman of Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals when they broke into his car and made away with an amount of three million cedis.

Mr Ansong who witnessed the colourful out-dooring of the league sponsorship ceremony by Ghana Telecom Company and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) was given a reason to cut short his ecstasy when he found that his car had been burgled after the hour-long programme. The Vice Chairman who beamed with smiles after the programme that saw the communication company injecting a 1.8 billion cedi sponsorship package into the Premiership, found his car that was parked at the premises of the Hotel had been broken into.

The thieves screwed through the glass of the right side of the Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle before executing their crime at the open space car park.

The Vice Chairman expressed shock at the misfortune when he spoke with GNA Sports, and said he only detected the damage to the side of his vehicle when he was about to board the car after the ceremony. He refused to be carried away by suspicions as to who could have been behind the theft when he was quizzed.
