A 78th minute free kick taken by substitute Abubakar Nahabi, enabled Feyenoord to beat Power FC 2-1 in their premier league match played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Feyenoord who monopolised the midfield resorted to accurate passes and scored the opener as a matter of course in the 35th minute and hanged on to it till half time.
Power made three changes in the second half and the changes benefited them as they piled pressure on Feyenoord and it came as no surprise when midfielder Allan Shearer levelled up matters in the 71st minute.
Feyenoord once again seized the initiative and earned a free kick near the box of their opponents. Nahabi, who played yeoman's game scored the match winner from the free kick.
