A fine display of basketball handed the ultimate silverware to Koforidua in the final game against Accra at this year's Miksi Afahye Basketball tourney in Cape Coast.

The winners recorded an impressive 31-26 scores over their Accra counterparts in the boys' category to pick home a trophy, medals, certificates and Miksi products. Following in third position was Kumasi.

Accra Security overpowered their Accra Civilian counterparts in the female category 13 -11 to pick the ultimate prize, medals and Miksi products.

Emmanuel Wolf of Koforidua Reformers distinguished himself in a keenly contested competition to emerge the Most Valuable Player (MVP), while Reformers' Promise Ofori grabbed the ladies version.

Events and programs representative of Promasidor Ghana, Inusah Mohammed, stated after the tourney that 'this is one of the many ways by which we promote and develop sports in the country.

'Cowbell, our flagship brand has so far taken cycling to another level in the country; we support boxing, skating and other sporting disciplines.

'The talent displayed here shows Ghana is blessed with great basketball talents. Miksi shall continue to provide platforms like this to unearth more talents,' he added.
