Abura Odonase, (C/R) Oct 6 GNA - Abura Odonase Schalke "04" Zone 2b First Division league leaders continued their winning spree when they beat Agona Swedru All Blacks 1-0 in their league match at Odonase on Sunday.
The tension-packed match was characterized with series of hold-ups and rowdy scenes and the few peace officers on duty had a hectic time trying to maintain order.
After a goalless first half, both sides resumed with greater determination but it was the home team who soon had the edge in their attack and managed to score the match winner in the 85th minute through centre half, Paul Kojo Appiah.
Appiah after collecting a pass rounded off two defenders on the run before and planting the ball into the net.
All Blacks counter-attacked in a search for the equalizer and piled pressure on their opponents but failed to make use of the chances that came their way until the referee's whistle for the end of proceedings.
