Kumasi, Oct 4, GNA - King Faisal exhibited their superiority over Okwawu United when they beat them 2-0 in the replay of the Zone 'A' Premier League match at the Kumasi Sports stadium on Monday.
The match was rained off on Sunday when Faisal were leading by a lone goal scored in the 26th minute but the match officials after inspecting the field declared unsuitable for play to continue. The outstanding match that witnessed a sizable crowd saw Faisal playing like wounded tigers and they opened the scores in the 53rd minute through a spot kick expertly taken by Hamza Mohammed.
Faisal continued to pile pressure on the visitors and increased the tally to 2-0 in the 66th minute when Abubakar Yahuza connected home a through pass from Akwasi Bobie Ansah.
Okwahu accepted the challenge and made series of incursions to reduce the tally but they could not get pass the Faisal defenders until the final whistle.
