Founder of Ghana's Fastest Human, Rex Brobby, has promised fireworks at this year's final scheduled for the Kumasi Stadium on September 26.

To Brobby, the high level of competition in the qualifiers and kind of training the finalists were embarking on had raised the stakes in the final showdown.

Preceding the final was a four-week countdown and press conference in Kumasi which attracted all who mattered in the sport, including Ashanti Regional Police Commander Kofi Boakye.

And with the backing of title sponsor Surfline, GNPC, First Atlantic Bank, Adidas Ghana and Global Media Alliance among others, Brobby gave the assurance of a spectacular final.

'All the finalists have put in much by way of training, and the fact that the majority of them were drawn from Greater Accra and Ashanti regions makes it more uncompromising.

'The Ashanti Region folks have vowed to keep the title, while their Accra counterparts are singing the same song. I can't wait for the 'D' day; expect a great final.

'We are in our third year and I must say it's been good so far. Thanks to companies like Surfline, GNPC and past sponsors like Techno and Standard Chartered. They have really made this dream a reality,' said Brobby.

Athletes who excel on the day will run home with attractive financial rewards, products from Indomie Instant Noodles and certificates.
