28.08.2015 LISTEN

The race for the Executive committee elections of the Ghana Football Association begins as Board member of Hearts of Oak; Frank Nelson Nwolokko will contest for the upcoming elections on the ticket of the club.

The Ghana Football Association will open nomination on Friday [28th September, 2015] for those who are willing to contest for the executive committee position.

For the past 5 years the Phobians have not had a member on the GFA executive committee and this will be a good chance for Frank Nelson Nkwolokko after three members of the current executive committee, Randy Abbey, Fred Pappoe and Moses Armah Parker decided not to contest for the upcoming election.

Cooperate Affairs and Marketing Manager of Hearts of Oak, Joe Addo confirmed that Frank Nelson will contest for the upcoming election on the ticket of the club.

'The Board sat down and decided that, Frank Nelson should go and contest for the executive committee election on the ticket of the club, he [Frank Nelson] is an intelligent administrator because for the past years he has spent a lot of resources on the club and I believe he deserves to be on the executive committee and I'm optimistic he will win', Addo told Happy fm.

However, the former Black Stars defender also revealed that he had wanted to contest for the executive committee elections on the ticket of the club but the Board decided to put Frank Nelson Nwolokko forward.
