Accra, Sept 27, GNA - The Confederation of African Football, (CAF) has appointed Malian officials to handle the African Youth Championship (AYC) qualifier between Ghana's Black Satellites and their Ivorien counterparts billed for the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday October 1. Referee Traore Bakau has been mandated to direct affairs from the middle in the first leg duel that qualifies the winner to next year's competition slated for Benin.
Traore Seydou and Coulibaly Madibo according to GNA Sports sources would assist on lines one and two respectively on Friday.
Nigerian born Thompson Badri would be the Match Commissioner. The Satellites would play host to Cote d' Ivoire in an expected gruelling duel whose outcome would largely influence the team to participate in the championship even before the return encounter in two week's time.
