Accra, Sept. 17, GNA - The Professional League Board (PLB) has approved the request of Kumasi King Faisal to honour their fourth week Premier League match against local rivals, Asante Kotoko on Saturday, September 18 at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

The match was originally billed for Sunday, September 19, but it had to be re-scheduled following the request of Faisal, who are playing home.

Information gathered by the GNA Sports indicate that the change of date for the match might be occasioned by the NNP's national Congress scheduled to come off at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology on Sunday, September, 19 and which would likely draw away the football fans from the stadium.

A statement signed by Mr Kweku Ampim-Darko, Deputy General/Technical of the Ghana Football Association therefore directed the Regional Sports Development Officer (RSDO), Regional Football Association (RFA) and other officials at the Kumasi Sports Stadium to take note and organise the match accordingly.

The statement also asked the Referees Appointment Committee of the GFA and the Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) to inform the designated referees accordingly about the change of date of the match.
