Ghana winger Andre Ayew has joined ambitious English Premier League side Swansea City after passing a medical on Wednesday afternoon, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
Free agent Ayew underwent the medical at Swansea after agreeing personal terms following his decision to end his stay with French side Marseille.
The Ghana international midfielder signed a five-year contract with the Premier League side which has delighted the ambitious club.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of Ghanaian forward Andre Ayew on a 5-Year deal on a free transfer,” Swansea said in a statement on Twitter.

The Ghana star, 25, signed for Swansea on a Bosman free transfer after his contract at French club Marseille was not renewed.
Swansea are in need of bolstering their attacking options this summer, having lost Wilfried Bony to Manchester City in January and his short-term replacement, loanee Nelson Oliveira, having returned to Benfica.
