A regional seminar to sensitize all clubs and Regional Football administrators on the new FIFA Regulations on working with intermediaries has been held in the Central Regional capital, Cape Coast.

This comes a day after the first of similar regional seminars was held on Wednesday in Takoradi with Eastern region set to host the next one on Thursday.

This will be followed by seminars in the Volta Region and Ashanti Region and Greater Accra region next week.

The GFA resource persons will then be in the Brong Ahafo region on May 19, Northern region on May 27, Upper West region on May 20 before the Upper East region.

With the coming into force of the FIFA Regulations on Working with the Intermediaries, the previous Player Agent licensing system has been abandoned and all existing licences issued by the GFA have lost its validity with effect from 1st April, 2015.

After the maiden seminar in Accra, the GFA indicated that it will organise similar seminars at the ten Regional Football Associations (RFAs) for all second division clubs, lower leagues clubs and all other stakeholders in football.
