Okwawu to miss key player

Accra, Aug. 20, GNA - Mohamed Polo, Okwawu United's skipper and influential midfielder will be missing in action on Sunday when his side come up against Obuasi AshantiGold in the second leg of the Special GHALCA Knock out competition at the Brightons Park, Mpraeso.

Polo was sent out in their first leg game against AshantiGold at Obuasi last Thursday for a second bookable offence and his side has been fined 200 thousand cedis for the offence.

AshantiGold on the other hand will also miss the services of their nimble footed midfielder, Ofosu Amoah in Sunday's game for receiving a red card in the first leg game as result of a second bookable offence. His compatriot Ben Teekloh will also miss Sundays' action for receiving two yellow cards in the competition. Amoah and Teekloh have been fined 200,000 cedis and 100,000 cedis respectively by GHALCA. 20 Aug. 04
