The Local Black Stars of Ghana edged Kumasi Corners Stones by a goal to nothing at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium in a warm-up game towards the COSAFA Cup.
Maxwell Konadu's team have been invited to participate in the annual competition organized by the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA).
In the team's quest to be in good shape ahead of the tournament which kicks off on 17 May and ends on 30 May, they engaged Corners Stones in a friendly game, which ended 1-0 in their favour yesterday.
The COSAFA Cup will prepare the Local Black Stars for the 2016 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
Maxwell Konadu guided Ghana to a 2 place finish in the CHAN in 2014 and would want to appreciate on their performance.
The team is currently camping in Obuasi.
