....to ferry stranded passengers Accra, Aug. 17, GNA - Ghana Airways has leased a Boeing 767 aircraft from Zimbabwe to clear the backlog of stranded passengers on its European route.
The aircraft to be on the lease for one week has the capacity of 197 passengers and would be able to clear all the remaining baggage of its passengers.
A source close to the Airline told Journalists that the leased aircraft would operate on a daily basis throughout the period.
A time of filing this report at 1840 hours on Tuesday stranded passengers travelling to London were going through departure formalities.
