Accra, Aug. 17, GNA - The Ghana Taekwondo Association (GTA) will at this weekend organise a two-day seminar for referees in preparation for the 2004 Open Championship.
The seminar, which was initiated by the technical committee of the GTA is to update the knowledge of the referees for the Championship in order to ensure fair officiating during the event.
According to Mr Erasmus Adorkor, General Secretary of the GTA, the championship will begin on Friday, August 20 and end on August 21 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
He said the seminar is open for all taekwondo referees, black berets, instructors and coaches. The open championship comes off between August 27 and 28 at the Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium Hall.
