Atebubu Esperance player Eugene Marfo banned for four matches

Eugene Marfo, a player of Atebubu Esperance has been banned for four matches and fined GH¢500 after he was expelled from the field of play for being abusive and insulting towards the referee.

This was indicated in the Match Reports of the match officials of the GN Bank Division One League match between Berlin FC and Atebubu Esperance FC.

This action or inaction of the player is in clear violation of Article 50 of the Disciplinary Code of the Ghana Football Association.

Further take notice that pursuant to Article 15(b) of the GFA Disciplinary Code and Article, 39(8)(b) and 39(8)(d) of the General Regulations of the GFA, should Atebubu Esperance FC fail to pay the fines stated above within the stipulated 14 days upon the receipt of this letter, the club shall forfeit all its subsequent matches until the fine is fully paid.
