Gate fees for knock-out matches reduced

Accra, August 13, GNA - The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has announced a reduction in gate fees for soccer fans to enable them throng the Accra Sports Stadium to witness the "soccer extravaganza" billed for Sunday.

The reduction, which is about 90 per cent, will see supporters at the Wings paying 15,000.00 cedis whilst the other stands goes for 10,000.00 cedis.

GHALCA explained that the move was to enable many soccer fans to patronise the extravaganza, which will see two crucial games between Real Sportive and B.A United preceding the encounter between Accra Great Olympics and Fetteh Feyenoord at the same venue on Sunday. Subsequently kick off times have been fixed for 13:30GMT and 16:30GMT respectively.
