Medeama SC are celebrating just their win number four in 11 league matches of the new season after comprehensively beating New Edubiase United 3-0 at the T&A Park in Tarkwa earlier this afternoon.

Former Kotoko striker, Nathaniel Asamoah scored twice as Medeama led by a goal at half time and sealed all three points with two more strikes in the second half.

It was only a 4th victory of the season for the Western Regional side who now amass 16 points from a possible 33 and jump into the top half of the table.

New Edubiase on the hand suffer their 6th loss of the campaign and drop into the relegation zone on 13 points in 14th position.

Medeama next face Heart of Lions in the den at Kpando on match day 12 next Sunday whilst New Edubiase host Bechem United in Bekwai of course. Follow @thedonplato
