Goodwill message to Hearts/Kotoko

Accra, Aug. 6, GNA - The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) has sent a goodwill message to Confederations Cup campaigners Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko towards their continental assignments.

Hearts are scheduled to take on Santos Club of South Africa on Saturday, whilst Kumasi Asante Kotoko battle Enugu Rangers of Nigeria on Sunday.

In a statement signed by Mr Joe Aggrey, Deputy Minister of MEYS, on behalf of government copied to the GNA Sports stated that, "As you go into action on Saturday and Sunday, you can be assured that the whole country is firmly behind you."

The statement called on the two teams to go into the match with determination, commitment and courage in order to win their matches to sustain the current momentum of the revival on the national sports front.
