Feyenoord hold Olympics At Cape Coast, newly promoted Feyenoord held Accra great Olympics to a goal-less drawn game in their Ghalca knock-out soccer competition at the Cape Coast sports stadium.

Both sides played a determined game after Kumasi-based Class One Referee, J.B. Debrah whistled for the commencement of the game but they failed to register any goals.

However, in the 41st minute, Olympics mid-fielder Seth Konadu was shown the red card for a second bookable offence.

After the referee's whistle for the end of the match, irate supporters of Olympics who were apparently dissatisfied with the performance of the referee, attacked the match officials but the timely intervention of the police save the situation.

At the Sekondi Gyandu Park Sekondi Hasaacas drew 0-0 with visiting King Faisal in a knockout match.

Hasaacas opened attack soon after kick-off but this was short lived with the defence of King Faisal making it difficult for them to get to their goal area.

After several attempts at goal by Hasaacas proved futile, King Faisal took over control of the game and launched series of attacks against Hasaacas.

As the game gathered momentum, King Faisal continued with their defensive strategy and made it more difficult for Hasaacas to outclass them.

Their pattern of play continued with Hasaacas finding no antidote until the first half ended without any goal.

Back from recess, Hasaacas continued their attacking spree but this time, King Faisal responded with swift counter-attacks.

Although the match was well contested in the second half by both sides, there were few scoring chances and the few opportunities were poorly utilized till the end of proceedings.
