Starlets begin camping on Wednesday

Accra, Aug 2, GNA - Forty players of the national under-17 soccer team, the Black Starlets, begin camping at the Winneba Sports College on Wednesday to prepare for the Africa and World Championships.

A statement signed by Richard Asare, Welfare Manager of the team, named the players as Nana Bonsu, Michael Addo, Emmanuel Ansong, Shadrack Dodie, Jonathan Quartey, Solomon Addy, Ofosu Appiah, David Telfer, Ghandy Kessenu, Peter Essien James Tagoe, Opoku Agyemang, Sadat Bukari, Edmund Mawuko and George Appiah. Others are, Emmanuel Dsane, David Ofei, Fredrick Sarpong, Razak Mohammed, Samuel Inkoom, Charles Boateng, Isaac Asamoah, Gershon Afatsaw, Michael Quaye, George Aikins, Baba Umar, Victor Ayireh and Salahu Dini.

The rest are, Samad Oppong, Ahmed Limann, Musa Muntari, Abdul Salam, Kwasi Bobie, Ernest Abu Danso, Moro Yakubu, Shadrack Dodzie, Martin Paddi, Jackson of Heart of Lions, Mubarak Wakaso and Tahiru Adams.

The players are to report by 1700 hours GMT on Wednesday, the statement said.
