14.02.2015 LISTEN

Accra Hearts of Oak's CAF Confederation Cup opponent, AS Police trained  at the Accra sports stadium on Saturday (3:30pm) ahead of their preliminary first leg game against former Ghanaian premier league champions on Sunday.

The league leaders in the Beninese top-flight arrived in Accra on Friday with a 27 man contingent made of 18 players, 4 technical men and 5 officials.

However, Per CAF tournament regulations the visiting team must train at the match venue 24 hours before Kick off which the Cotonou based club did on today.

The Youthful AS Police side looks much composed with their training with a well rehearsed strategy which is getting an  incisive crossing  and a simple touch of football as the training lasted for only 1 hour.

During AS Police training, two of Hearts of Oak technical men ( Assistant coach Abugri and Goalkeepers trainer Eddie Ansah) were in the stands to spy on their opponent.

After the training, head coach of AS Police, Stanislas Akele in an interview with  Allsports.com.gh  cautioned Hearts of Oak to be wary of his side.

"Hearts of Oak should be very careful on Sunday, we came here to play good football and also win as well, is going to be a nice game but my players are in good form and very strong; they will run 90 minutes without stopping. So Hearts should think on how they will handle us," he said.

AS Police currently sit on top of the Beninese ligue 1 with 11 points in 5 games, after winning 3 and drawing 2, scoring 4 goals and conceded none.
