Mylik Under-19 qualifiers for four regions

Accra, July 22, GNA - Registration for the Under 19 qualifiers of this year's National Mylik Classic Under-19 Soccer tournament has opened for the Volta/Eastern and Ashanti/Brong Ahafo zones.

A statement signed by Mr Kofi Bawuah, Chief Executive Officer and Technical Director of the Mylik Sports said the registration fee for interested clubs is 300,000 cedis.

It said the Volta/Eastern zonal qualifiers are scheduled to come off from August 10 to 15.

Mr Bawuah said clubs in the Volta Region would play their qualifiers at the Akosombo Sports stadium whiles those from the Eastern Region would take place at the Koforidua Sport Stadium.

The statement asked clubs in the Volta and Eastern Regions who would like to participate in the qualifiers to register at the offices of Volta Warriors Football club and at the Eastern FM respectively.

Mr Bawuah said the qualifiers would after the Volta/Eastern zonals move to the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo zone and is scheduled to come off from August 24 to 29.

He said registration for the zone would take place at the offices of OTEC FM in Kumasi whilst the tournament itself would take place at the Kumasi Sports Stadium. Meanwhile International Allies and Polo Academy have qualified from the Accra zone whilst Schweppes and Pepsi Football Clubs qualified from the Tema zone for the grand final that is scheduled for later this year. 22 July 04
