Kumasi Asante Kotoko were expected to leave for Morocco last night with 14 players for their Confederation Cup second leg game against WAC.

The team will be joined by four players in the Black Meteors' camp for Saturday's game.

Club Chief Executive, Major Yaw Larson (retd), told the Graphic yesterday that Charles Taylor, Yusif Chibsah, William Tiero and goalkeeper George Owu were expected to be part of the Casablanca game.

The four left with the home-based band of the Meteors for Portugal but are expected to touch down for the weekend's continental club assignment.

They leave for Morocco without goalkeeper Mohammed Alhassan who is also with the Meteors, but in Louis Quainoo Kotoko have a reliable replacement.

Quainoo was among the players who were expected to leave for Morocco through Italy.

Others on the trip are Joe Hendricks, Aziz Ansah, Michael Osei, Nana Arhin Duah, Michael Ofosu Appiah, Godfred Yeboah, Michael Asante, Stephen Oduro, Frank Osei, Issah Ahmed, Imbola Sanjie, Shilla Alhassan and Sammy Addo.

Kotoko cancelled yesterday's friendly against Power FC in Accra to prevent a possible fatigue.
