Cape Coast, July 11, GNA - Okwahu United made light work of Ebusua Dwarfs when they whipped them 2-0 in a friendly football match played at Cape Coast sports stadium on Sunday.

Dwarfs who lost 0-1 to Vipers and 3-0 to Hasaacas in similar friendly matches, were no match for the visitors throughout the 90 minutes of play.

Kicking under the instruction of class one referee, Jeffery Amamoo, Okwahu United went ahead in the fourth minute with a free kick that was expertly taken by midfielder, Mohammed Polo.

Dwarfs returned attack and nearly equalised in the 10th minute but inside left John Deheers goal bound shot was scooped from the goal line by the defence of Okwahu United.

Okwahu United continued to dictate the affairs and following a combination initiated at the left flank, inside left Yusif Amarbol raised his side's tally to 2-0 in a goalmouth scramble in the 65th minute.

Dwarfs earned a penalty in the 80th minute but centre half Kwame Mbir who elected himself for the kick wasted the chance. The GNA Sports in an interview with some supporters of the club described the performance of Dwarfs in their recent matches as very poor that needed to be improved before the first division league takes off.
