Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu admits the absence of key duo Asamoah Gyan and Kwadwo Asamoah will affect the Ghana team ahead of their final 2015 AFCON qualifiers.

The Black Stars are without the influential duo who have suffered various degrees of injuries.

Kwadwo Asamoah is expected to be out for two weeks with a knee injury and is currently in Spain receiving treatment.

Gyan on the other hand is also struggling with a thigh strain but will be part of Ghana's delegation when they face Uganda in Kampala on Saturday even though he will not be in action.

Agyemang-Badu who will be heavily relied upon in the absence of Kwadwo Asamoah in particular – concedes the team will be somewhat affected but says their plight will be assuaged by the presence of their inspirational captain.

“It will be difficult for the team especially when we are missing two great players, Kwadwo Asamoah and Asamoah Gyan,” the Udinese star said.

“But at least we will have Asamoah Gyan in the stands to support us and we know Kwadwo Asamoah will also be with us in spirit.

“We will do our best to ensure we win this game and come back home with all the three points.”

Ghana remain in pole position to clinch one of the automatic qualification slots for next year's finals.

The Black Stars only require a win from their final two games against Uganda and Togo in Kampala and Tamale respectively to seal its place from Group E.
