Accra, June 24, GNA - Some 120 golfers across the country would participate in this year's finals of the Peugeot Challenge Golf Tournament on Saturday, July 3, at the Achimota Golf Course, a statement said in Accra on Thursday.
The event is being sponsored by Prestige Motor Company Limited, which has been handling the tournament for the past 20 years.
The statement copied to the GNA Sports said preceding the event are three qualifiers out of which two have already been held in Kumasi and Damang in the Western region respectively to select the competitors. The final qualifier tees off at the Tema Celebrity Golf Course on Saturday for golfers in the Greater Accra region.
The four top golfers would be sponsored to join others from 31 countries across the globe at the Peugeot International P. O-Am in August this year.
The golfers will play on three prestigious Courses -Golf de Sanit-Germain, Golf National and Paris International Golf club, all in France.
