18.06.2004 LISTEN

Skipper Stephen Appiah: Everybody is ready to play.

Sammy Adjei: We can make it by the Grace of God. We have prepared very well and morale is at its apogee.

Amankwah Mireku: The whole nation is looking up to us and we cannot afford to disappoint. Everyone is fired up for the occasion and I believe South Africa will fall. We need the support of the entire nation from start to finish and we will deliver. With God on our side, the task is a possibility.

Addoquaye Pappoe: We shall approach the match as though our lives depend on it. There will be no reason for us to fail. The World Cup cannot slip through our hands. We need a win to stay on course, and we believe we can do it.

John Mensah: This is the game that will define our campaign towards qualification for the World Cup. It is a game of must-win for us. Everyone expects us to live up to expectation and we must justify the confidence reposed in us. South Africa must fall.

Samuel Osei Kuffour: I cannot say anything about the game, but nobody would want to play and lose.

Anthony Obodai: Unity is key to the target. Once we have it, we have victory half-way, even before we enter the game.

Baffour Gyan: It is going to be a game of our lives. It is possible we shall win, and we need the support and prayers of all Ghanaians.

Sulley Muntari: Confidence is key and we have it. The Meteors blazed the trail and we shall follow the same path. We can't afford to slip.

Lawrence Adjei: Nothing is impossible. We have the men and we believe in ourselves. We shall overcome.

Michael Essien: Our campaign starts here. Victory is a must to get our World Cup dreams on course. With the right focus we can achieve it.
