Champions: Steve Stricker, Bo Van Pelt defend Charity Classic title

The American duo finished the 36-hole tournament at the Rhode Island Country Club at 20 under, a shot clear of Peter Jacobsen and Jimmy Walker.

Russell Henley and Harris English, and the team of Suzann Pettersen and Jonas Blixt, were tied for third at 15 under.

While Stricker and Van Pelt were unable to match their record of 25 under from last year, they were still victorious.

They holed 11 birdies in a fine round, but Jacobsen and Walker were level through 13 holes.

Van Pelt and Stricker birdied the 14th and never looked back as they went on to claim the title for a second straight year.
