Hearts send congratulatory message to fans

Accra, May 10, GNA - The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has commended its teeming fans for turning up in their numbers to cheer the club in its friendly international match against the National team of Benin, the Squirrels at the El-Wak Stadium last Sunday.

In a commendation message signed by the Administrative Manager, Mr Ashford Tetteh Oku copied to the GNA Sports, the release said the attendance of the supporters was encouraging and showcased their discipline, devotion and commitment to brave all odds to stand by the Club in all circumstances.

Mr Oku said the attendance of the supporters at the El-Wak stadium is an indication that they will throng the Accra Sports Stadium in their numbers this Sunday to cheer the club to victory in its match against Etoile Sportive du Sahel.

He said since the club is seriously considering organising the Club's future local and international friendly matches at the El-Wak stadium, management hopes to count on their support and co-operation when the decision is finally taken.

The release gave the assurance that the Club will do everything in its power to ensure victory in their match come this Sunday and urged all supporters not to be deterred by the recent defeats of the recent friendly matches but to continue to lend their support to ensure the club attains its ultimate goal.
