Schalke 04 win Middle League match

Cape Coast, May 7, GNA - Abura Odonase Schalke 04 on Thursday beat Agona Swedru All Blacks 4-2 in the Central Region Second Division Super Zonal Middle League competition at the Cape Coast sports stadium. In a fast, and uncompromising match, Schalke 04 opened the scoring through centre half, Joel Okyere in the 22nd minute but All Blacks managed to equalise through their midfielder, Nii Otoo Welbeck in the 28th minute.

Schalke 04 who were determined to carry the day, increased the tally to 2-1 through outside left Abdul Rahaman in the 35th minute. All Blacks returned the attack and brought the scores to 2-2 through midfielder Issa Sheriff, but before the end of half time, Schalke 04 raised the tally to 3-2 through outside right, Richard Acquah. All Blacks piled on pressure and made some changes to strengthen their attack but that did not deter Schalke 04 from increasing the tally to 4-2 through Joel Okyere in the 75th minute.
