Nana Arhin Duah has signed a new contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko in a deal that would see the striker stay on with the porcupine warriors for two more years.

The Kotoko striker on Saturday appended his signature to a two-year deal in Kumasi.

Prior to signing the new deal, Arhin Duah was rumoured to be on the recruitment list of Asante Kotoko's archrivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.

Nana Arhin Duah's absence from Asante Kotoko's two-leg African Champions league game with ASEC Mimosa of Cote d' Ivoire gave the transfer rumour mill further ground about his possible departure from Kumasi.

But Saturday's signature of the new deal puts to rest any possible move out of Asante Kotoko.

Nana Arhin Duah joined Kumasi Asante Kotoko after been signed on from Obuasi Goldfields now Ashanti Gold SC in the 2000 league season by the Herbert Mensah administration.

Injuries have stalled the promising career of the Kotoko lead striker but he is still considered one of the best marksmen on the domestic front.
