Angolan National Team Bound for Ghana

The main national football team today left the country bound for Accra, Ghana, for a friendly match with its local counterpart on Wednesday.

This game occurs prior to the challenge against Namibia scheduled for May the 9th, for the preliminaries of the COSAFA Cup, having national coach Oliveira Gonþalves said that he is taking players likely to perform against Namibia.

Petro de Luanda athletes were released because they play today Zimbabweoes Amazulu, in Luanda, for the last but one preliminary of the African Champion's League. In the first-leg match the teams drew nil.

From Angola travelled Dedas, Elisio and Stopirra (1º de Agosto), Nuno, Jamba, Sergio, Yamba Asha, Fofana, Love and Simão (ASA), Man Baya (Progresso) and Mimi (Petro do Huambo).

These players will join Gilberto (Al Ahaly, Egypt), Marcos Paulo (Estoril, Portugal), Caly (Santa Clara, Portugal), and Zuela (Académica, Portugal).
